IncrediCube Inc. is a startup developing IncrediCubeTM – a new type of web-based Information Management Engine capable of powering, either manually or automatically, a wide array of applications from online authoring environments to custom made social networks. IncrediCubeTM facilitates the quick development and deployment of web applications that allow non-technical users to easily carry both internal (administrative) and external (dissemination) work processes.
The company operates within the relatively new and rapidly growing ‘Enterprise 2.0’ market. This market is estimated to reach $4.6 billion by the year 2013. Enterprise 2.0 may be defined as the use of cloud computing technologies and Web 2.0 concepts for use in two organizational fronts:
- Internal – cloud computing and Web 2.0 concepts that provide savings on infrastructure costs, offer new web-based business process solutions, and improve internal communication.
- External – tools and applications for reaching the huge pool of potential customers now using Web 2.0 services, such as social networks, user-generated content sites, and media streaming sites.
The company has finished developing the first version of the IncrediCube Information Management Engine. The first IncrediCube powered application – IncrediSquare – is due to be launched in a limited release at the beginning of November 2010. Additional IncrediCube-powered web applications are to be released soon after.
Statement of Intent
At IncrediCube we operate out of the basic conviction that the work environment is a place for targeted, controlled, and organized individual and collaborative work geared toward achieving predefined internal and external short, medium and long term business goals. For that reason, it is our assertion that the individual should be placed at the center around which a workgroup may be formed, and not the other way around. We also strongly believe that while Web 2.0 concepts may be harnessed to expedite processes on the internal organizational front, used properly they can revolutionize processes on the external front.
